Installing and maintaining Sybase database servers, Interfacing with Sybase application developers , Sybase Performance and tuning, Monitoring and problem diagnosis, System design and modifications, Solid Sybase 11.9.2 and 12.5 skills and experience, Sybase Replication Server experience , SQL and stored procedure performance and tuning experience, Shell / Perl scripting a plus, MS SQLServer and / or UDB knowledge not necessary, but a plus, JAVA experience not necessary, but a plus, Minimum of 2 to 4 years of Experience as Sybase dba for this position.
